Monday, November 26, 2012

Annually, millions of travelers flock to the scenic and sunny shores of Hawaii looking to relax and enjoy themselves on the beach. Besides the ocean and exquisite scenery, the island is also home to lots of clubs geared specifically toward the lesbian community. With activities ranging from pool to karaoke to Latin dancing and even nightly competitions, lesbians in Hawaii have no shortage of places to party.

Hula's Bar & Lei Stand

Regarded as of the first true gay and lesbian clubs in Hawaii, Hula's has been a fixture on the Waikiki scene since 1974 and is internationally known. In addition to nightly entertainment including disc jockeys, the club is also equipped with a full kitchen. Celebrities including Elton John and Dolly Parton have partied here and the atmosphere is boisterous, easy-going and fun.

Angles Hawaii

Angles is a small neighborhood lesbian bar in Honolulu. Opened in 1996, the club has pool tables, dancing, live entertainment, WiFi and an outdoor lanai area. Angles is located off the main strip, making it a bit less of a touristy location and a lovely club to select if you are looking for something casual and laid back.

Fusion Waikiki

Another popular gay and lesbian hot spot in Waikiki, Fusion offers floors of DJs and dancing nightly. It is also well-known for its drag burlesque shows and karaoke rooms. Most bars on the island serve until two a.m., but Fusion serves drinks until four a.m., making it of the liveliest late-night clubs in Hawaii.

These gay bars in Hawaii will be a haven for lgbt people thus making it a memorable gay friendly Hawaii adventure.
